Wow 2016 isn’t even over yet but I can’t even begin to say how blessed I am. The beginning of the year I looked at my schedule thinking how in the world will I continue my photography business with only a few weddings on my calendar and a couple family sessions. WOW, was I wrong. Since January 1, 2016 until today I have received 72 new clients. Did you hear that? Let me repeat that… 72 NEW CLIENTS!!! Please give me a minute while I go pick my jaw up off the ground.

In the last 10 months as my business has grown (tremendously) I have obviously had several things I needed to learn. Maybe not in the “photography” world but the business aspect of the business also. Okay, for real not sure who I am kidding I can always learn something in the photography world. So anyways, I started following Six Figure Photography on a daily basis. Ben, the owner of the company is who I want to be when I grow up… except I still want to be a female. haha. The amount of energy he brings to his business everyday is amazing. The smile, the sense of humor and just the love for his business. I knew if I wanted to be half as awesome as him, I needed to do the same thing! With that being said, I had to build business hours for myself. I didn’t do this to try to make it a 9-5 job but I did this so not only could my family get some quality time with me but so could my clients. When I go to a session I listen to music on the way and sing as loud as possible to get myself pumped up! I just love it. I can tell that the moment I started LOVING my business, LOVING what I did and LOVING the work I was producing it would help my business… and it did.

I know this is a rather lengthy post but I am just on cloud nine with how amazing my business has been and all the friendships and clients I have gained. 2016 was a good one but watch out 2017!!!

With all this being said, please note that i am already about 50% booked for Spring and Summer 2017. *Make sure to book ahead especially for weddings, maternity and Seniors!!*

Much love! Thank you all again for being so awesome and supporting me. me
